Repertoire Classes
LEARN TO PLAY YOUR FAVOURITE SONGS
This is your chance to build our your repertoire once you've finished the Core Course.
These classes are only for people who know how to read sheet music. The repertoire pieces are ranging from late beginners to intermediate levels.
Each repertoire class is 50 minutes long, covering in detail how to start, prepare, practice and polish the piece to make it ready for performance.
Each class includes information that you would normally learn from a teacher over a minimum of 6 month long period of time.
- FINDING OUT THE TIME & KEY SIGNATURES
- WORKING ON THE RHYTHMIC PATTERNS ON EACH HAND SEPARATELY
- FIGURING OUT THE NOTES AND DEVELOPING YOUR SHEET MUSIC READING SKILLS
- UNDERSTANDING THE BASIC HARMONIC ANALYSIS
- USING THE RIGHT FINGER NUMBERS
- PRACTICING IN SLOW TEMPO HANDS SEPARATELY AND THEN HANDS TOGETHER
- WORKING ON PHRASING
- IMPLEMEMNTING DYNAMICS, ARTICULATIONS AND PEDALLING
