ABRSM
The ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) is an examination board and registered charity based in London, England, which provides examinations in music at centres around the world. ABRSM is one of the world's renowned examination boards.
Preparing for an ABRSM exam requires careful planning and awareness of the importance of including all aspects of the exam in the piano, violin, cello and vocal lessons on a regular basis.
We help our students choose suitable pieces for the exam and ensure they have selected the right combination from the correct syllabus.
We also incorporate at least a few minutes of aural training and sight-reading into every piano lesson as well as giving them a mock exam well before the actual event. Our Instructors
Graded Music Exams
Graded music exams provide a structured framework for progression from beginner to advanced musician.
Grades 1–3 at Level 1
Grades 4–5 at Level 2
and Grades 6–8 at Level 3
Most subjects are offered from Grades 1–8 and have three standards of pass: a straight pass, a pass with merit and a pass with distinction.
ABRSM diploma, licentiate diploma and fellowship
These are professional qualifications.
